What is this?

Hi! Welcome to my blog! My big plan is to share photos and what's going on with Lillian. A little late, I know. I'd meant to keep a journal but never got around to it, and then Duyen suggested I do something like this so she could keep tabs on Lilli when Duyen's at grad school. So here it is. Sometimes, you might think, why the heck do I care about that? Why would anyone but the kid's mother (or father) care about that???! And that's because I care about it! A lot of this is just for me to keep some sort of record and not feel that Lilli's little babyhood is passing away at lightning speed! That's another good reason to put it in this form. I have been writing little update emails to people, with a picture attached, but then people are forced to have large photos in their inboxes (very annoying, i know, for those who have small inboxes) and perhaps read stuff they don't care about. Parents sometimes can't distinguish between what's annoying and what's endearing when it comes to being proud of their own children. This way, if you care, you can periodically check in to this site. ok? ok! No pressure! And for those of you who do want to put in input, you are welcome to do so. Thanks! Love, Mariko
