Just so you all know, I do plan to resume writing someday. There are tons of wonderful (and trying) moments that I don't want to forget. Plus, I don't want the twins to accuse me of any favoritism in a decade or so. Or, maybe they'll be grateful that I haven't yet discussed their bowel movements for the whole world to read.
But, the twins did have their sixth month checkup yesterday, and just to remind myself I checked out my entry for Lilli on that day.
Lilli weighed 21 pounds plus and was over 28 " long. Her head was 17" in circumference and she was sitting up and saying "mama."
Darn these twins, they refuse to say "mama!" But I love them anyway :) Lanie is 17 lbs. 9oz and Avery is 18 lbs 2 oz. Lanie is 27 1/2" tall and Avery is 27 1/4" tall. BUT. They've both got Lilli beat on head size. Lanie's head is 17 1/4" and Avery's is 17 1/2". Yay for enormous heads! Plus, Lanie is crawling backwards and loves to be on her tummy. She is constantly getting stuck under the couch with just her head sticking out. Avery is more like Lilli: content to lie on his back and be a lump. It is easier taking care of a lump but lots of fun to watch Lanie get around. Hopefully I will be able to write more about them soon. . .right now they are taking a blessed morning nap but who knows how long that will last! Still have to do laundry before they wake up!
